Diane Gedeon-Martin, President of The Write Source, LLC, is a nationally recognized and respected grants consultant, instructor, and lecturer in the area of grants and grantseeking for nonprofit organizations.  Her dedication to the field is evident in the way she speaks about the grantseeking process; her enthusiasm is contagious!  The materials she develops for workshops, conference sessions, and online webinars/audioconferences blend the best of a strong academic program with a practical approach to grantseeking to provide an exceptional learning opportunity for all. 

In 2001, she became an adjunct faculty member of The Fund Raising School at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University where she not only teaches Preparing Successful Grant Proposals but co-developed the curriculum for the course along with Melissa S. Brown of Melissa S. Brown & Associates.  Before joining the faculty at Indiana University, she taught grantseeking for four years for a similar program conducted by Wayne State University in Detroit.  Diane is also on faculty at the following institutions:

∙ Association of Fundraising Professionals' (AFP) Principles of Fundraising Program, Connecticut Chapter - since 2008.

∙ CharityChannel.com and Charity University - since 2008.

∙ Connecticut Association of Nonprofits - since 2003.

Diane received the title of Master Trainer through the Faculty Training Academy conducted at the 47th AFP International Conference in Baltimore.  The Faculty Training Academy prepares instructors to take leadership positions in AFP's professional education programs and to serve as peer mentors for other AFP course instructors.

Because of her expertise in the field, she is a frequent guest speaker at conferences sponsored by local, state, national, and international associations.   Please see the Sample Workshop/Conference Host List for more information.  The roster includes six consecutive years speaking at the annual AFP International Conference and a presenter for their Audio-conference Series.
