Text Box: Diane Gedeon-Martin, the President of The Write Source, conducts all workshops and conference presentations. After 15 years as a broadcast journalist and corporate marketing professional, she joined the nonprofit sector and, within a few years, began her consulting career. Since starting The Write Source in 1993, she has built a reputation for creating fund development materials that get results.

Ms. Gedeon-Martin relates to grant proposal writing as “fundraising term papers.” Her dedication to the field is evident in the way she speaks about the grantseeking process; her enthusiasm is contagious! The materials she developed for workshops, conference sessions, and online seminars/webinars blend the best of a strong academic program with a practical approach to grantseeking to provide an exceptional learning opportunity for all.

In 2001, she joined the faculty of The Fund Raising School at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University where she not only teaches Preparing Successful Grant Proposals but is also a curriculum advisor for the course. Previously, she taught for four years for the Essentials of Fundraising program conducted by Wayne State University in Detroit. She is also a member of the faculty for the Connecticut Association of Nonprofits.
